
Denise G. Scholl-Serrett is a true entrepreneur, including in the non-profit arena. She has recently been appointed to her most exciting role as the Executive Director of the YWCA Lincoln.
Prior to this, Denise owned and operated two businesses including: The HR Lady Consulting, which provides full human resources services to the small business and resume writing/coaching/interview skills training to individuals, and The Event Lady! an events planning company handling both meeting and wedding planning.
Thrilled to be back to her hometown of Lincoln, NE after more than fifteen years away, she has quickly become involved in the community as an Ambassador and President's Council member of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce; Executive Board of Directors member of the YWCA Lincoln; and member of the Young Professional's Group, Lincoln Independent Business Association, Center Sphere, BNI and PNG.
A believer in life-long learning, Denise has a Master of Arts in Management and Bachelors of Science in Human Resources Management from Bellevue University and is currently pursuing a second Masters Degree in Hospitality Management. She is a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR); Certified Compensation Professional (CCP); and Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and working towards her Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) designation.
