Teresa is the Assistant Manager in Learning and Development at State Farm Insurance with responsibility for Leadership and Associate Development. Teresa began her career with State Farm in 1991 in California. She has worked in Personal Lines Fire and Event Planning, but most of her career she has specialized in leadership development, coaching, and team building. Her passion has been helping individuals and teams gain new knowledge and a better understanding of themselves.
She has modeled the attributes of a life-long learner by receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration from Washington State University and her Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco. She is a graduate of Corporate Coach U, Relationship and Systems Coaching from the Coaches Training Institute and has earned her Chartered Life Underwriter designation.
Teresa is the proud parent of Connor, a college student at San Diego State University. When she is not working or off visiting her family in California, she enjoys traveling the world, exploring new cultures, and seeing things through their lenses whenever possible.
